FinStudio streamlines user interaction with its application settings by employing a unified approach, facilitating ease of use and consistency across the platform. This approach centers around a singular "Properties" module, which dynamically adjusts to show settings relevant to the currently active module within the application.
Â
Accessing Properties
To view and modify settings for any active module:
- Select the Module: Simply click on the module that is currently in use.
- Open Properties: The properties specific to that module will automatically load, enabling immediate access to its settings.
This system ensures that users do not have to navigate through multiple menus or windows to adjust settings, making the process more intuitive and efficient.
Â
Properties Overview
The Properties module is divided into three main tabs, each catering to different customization aspects of the active module:
1. Theme
- Default Theme Settings: This tab allows users to choose and apply default theme settings, which might include color schemes, font sizes, and other visual elements that affect the overall look of the module. Users can select from a range of predefined themes or customize elements to create a personalized workspace that reflects their preferences and enhances visual comfort.
2. Storing Data
- Data Storage Options: In this tab, users can configure how data associated with the module is stored. This is particularly relevant for modules that handle large amounts of data, such as financial instruments or analytical charts. Options might include settings for data retention duration, data granularity, and whether to keep data continuously updated. This allows users to balance between resource utilization and the need for comprehensive data availability.
3. Appearance
- Custom Appearance Settings: This tab provides options to further customize the appearance of the module beyond the basic theme settings. It might include adjustments for layout, specific color highlights for certain data types, or interface elements that can be shown or hidden according to user preference.
